Someone did play it as a left handed guitar, so there is an extra screw hole on the horn. It shows a very light amount of player ware, and is still nice and glossy. more seam is not easy to see, making it look like one piece of Alder. And the fit and finish is very nice, and the. FENDER HIGHWAY ONE STRATOCASTER NITRO SERIAL
Fender only has had a handful of true Hendrix guitars because of issues with the estate, and those had a Hendrix neck plate, but the same TN serial number. Factory neck, showing the pencil date as well as the TN serial number, which was used on the Voodoo, Hendrix inspired guitars. But does not have the reverse pickup routing. Most of them were had a reversed bridge pickup as well that emulated how Hendrix's guitar would be. 1999'68 Reverse Special Strat body that came with a factory Fender neck that had a reverse headstock on a right handed body. Here's your chance to own one of Fender's best, with old wood, and you don't have to pay a Custom Shop price for it. Fender doesn't make bodies like these anymore unless they have a Custom Shop stamp on them. Including buckle rash, chips, dings and dents, but it is still in excellent structural condition. And has aged just like a vintage body, showing a light patina and plenty of worming and player ware. The black finish was a Custom Color back then. Back when Fender was still shaping all the bodies and necks by hand and finishing them with thin Nitro, and not the thick poly base coat that robs tone. This is an excellent example of an early Fender 62 Reissue body that was made in 1987. more relic'd This is really a one of a kind look and with a nice neck it will sound like a beast! I have included a relic Neck plate with a 1969 Serial number just for fun. The Bridge/Pickguard/ and Screws have been light relic'd professionally. Pickups used are the"Hendrix" Fender Custom Shop'69 pups and they sound incredible! The Body is as pictured with nicks and scratches from actual use. Pickguard is Custom as well with only the two hole scheme. Body is a 2006 Nitro Finished Transparant Blonde Highway 1 Made with Alder Tone on this one is seriously amazing!
